Beach Grease CORE Beer Program
Strong, West-coast hop character including citrus, papaya and stone fruit from the Citra and Mosaic hop additions balanced by a biscuity malt backbone from premium Maris Otter malt. Very poundable.
This beer features the always reliable mosaic and simcoe, along with the amazing up and coming hop varietal, Eukanot. There are overwhelming notes of papaya with hints of pineapple and a slight resinous background. The beer drinks incredibly smooth - maintaining the expected tropical fruit flavor, while avoiding the bitterness of old school IPAs.
Like our Surf Reaper IPA it’s a true westcoast Hop Forward Ale. We used the freshest Amarillo, Simcoe and Cascade hops and came up with a very fruit forward (primarily orange and citrus) , dank and resinous pale ale with hints of grapefruit and pine notes.
CRUISIN FOR A BOOZIN
Lurking deep in the hop fields, Beer Savage snagged the freshest Amarillo and Ekuanot hops to give thebeer a bright aroma and crisp taste to awaken your inner savage. There are overwhelming notes of frothing for another cold Cruisin’ for a Boozin’.
BURY ME A G
All eyes on Simcoe, Amarillo, and Citra hops to bring out the crisp taste of Bury Me a G Double IPA. This 8% beer of freshness has noticeable citrus notes on the aroma followed by a refreshing and resinous finish. Amazingly smooth and crushable. Behind every sip there’s a story, and a moment to enjoy with those that drink good beer.
PISTON & PALMS
Clean, West Coast style hoppy Pilsner with aroma of grapefruit peel and lemon. Tastes dry with lots of citrus notes from the addition of centennial. Perfect beer for a sunny San Diego day to please both the ‘light’ beer drinkers and hop heads. Made to pound more than a few.
CZ Saaz hops. German Pilsner malt. Cold fermented.Crisp, clean. Spicy lemon and herbal notes.
oIL & WATER
Beach Grease Beer Co. “Oil and Water” Black Lager has a light body, with roasty dark notes from the malts stopping well short of any stout-level depth. Fewer fruity esters play in the roastiness since this is a lager style beer. Instead, hops step in and provide an assertive but pleasant bitterness. Referred to as “Schwarzbier” in Germany (literally “black beer”) Oil and Water Black Lager is an American Black Lager. Its a good option for depth without as much body, dark and mysterious but still refreshing and quenchingly dry.
